The Marconi Laboratory
Richard Marconi, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in the VCU School of Medicine. His laboratory is focused on vaccine development and defining the virulence and genetic regulatory mechanisms of pathogenic spirochetes and tick-borne diseases, such as Lyme disease, relapsing fever, leptospirosis, ehrlichiosis, and Periodontal disease.
